Companies are confronted with the challenge of having to adapt existing manufacturing process sequences due to component changes. Due to certifications as well as the criticality of the component functionality, these adaptations for manufacturing process sequences of safety-critical components represent a special challenge. Therefore, the aim of this work is the development of a methodology for the planning of adaptations for manufacturing process sequences of safety-critical components.
